Made in Germany EEG and EMG systems for Bosnia and Herzegovina
In December 2025, Trebinje Hospital received new EEG and EMG systems from esumedics. The installation was carried out in close cooperation with our local distributors MEDICOM BIJELJINA and Galabern d.o.o. and coordinated directly with the clinical departments on site. With the new systems, the medical team gains additional capabilities to address neurological questions efficiently and in line with current MDR standards.
Coordinated Installation and Hands on Training
The implementation in Trebinje followed a structured, step by step approach carried out directly within the clinical environment. After setting up the systems in the designated examination rooms, all parameters and software configurations were finalized together with the hospital team.
This was followed by an in depth training session tailored to the clinic’s specific requirements. The medical staff had the opportunity to walk through typical examination scenarios, raise individual questions, and perform initial measurements under real conditions. This practical introduction ensured a smooth transition into routine diagnostics and enabled the systems to be used effectively from day one.
Structured EEG Reporting with Flexible Display Options
The EEG system was particularly appreciated for its dual montage view with splitscreen functionality. This layout supports parallel assessment of relevant channels and facilitates focused reporting. Clinicians and medical staff can review EEG data more quickly and interpret findings with confidence, which noticeably streamlines daily workflows.

Reliable EMG Signals for Precise Diagnostics
The EMG system also received positive feedback. Its high signal quality supports the assessment of sensitive parameters and enables targeted diagnostics, particularly in sensory nerve conduction studies. Clear signals reduce the need for repeat measurements and contribute to efficient examination processes.
The new EEG and EMG systems from esumedics integrate well into our daily workflow. The onsite introduction was clearly structured, allowing us to start using the devices quickly. The practical explanations during training were especially helpful. Both the EEG display options and the EMG signal quality support us noticeably in our routine diagnostics.
