Neurography Training with esumedics EMG Systems
On October 10, 2025, healthcare professionals came together in Berlin for an intensive NCV workshop led by Simone Hübscher. The course offered participants the opportunity to train hands-on with the user-friendly esumedics EMG systems and to deepen their practical skills in electroneurography under real-world conditions.
Structured Course Design with a Strong Practical Focus
The workshop combined concise theoretical input with extensive practical training sessions. Following an introduction to the fundamentals of motor and sensory nerve conduction studies, the main focus shifted to hands-on measurements. Participants independently performed a wide range of examinations on upper and lower limb nerves and received continuous professional feedback throughout the course. In addition, advanced procedures including blink reflex studies, facial nerve neurography, and repetitive nerve stimulation were trained.
The clear course structure and the small group format created an effective learning environment, allowing participants to practice intensively, ask questions openly, and further develop their technical skills.

Personal Guidance Supporting Confident Practice
The workshop was technically supported by Dr. Felix Töpfer, Sales Representative East Germany at esumedics, who was available on site to assist participants during the practical sessions. The close interaction between the course instructor, the attendees, and Felix Töpfer enabled open discussion of typical challenges encountered in daily clinical practice and facilitated the exchange of practical solution approaches. Participants especially praised the intuitive handling of the esumedics EMG system, which supported safe and focused workflows even in complex measurement situations.
