esumedics Supports Advanced Neurophysiology Training
On January 16 and 17, 2026, esumedics supported another course module of the 18-month part-time professional training program for Neurophysiological Diagnostics Specialists. The focus was on hands-on NCV exercises using our user-friendly esumedics EMG system, which impressed participants with its intuitive operation, excellent signal quality, and ease of use.

Practical Training for Future Specialists
The January module centered on electroneurography in both theory and practice. The German training program is designed to equip medical professionals in hospitals and outpatient clinics with advanced skills in modern neurophysiological diagnostics through a part-time, intensive training format. The program is organized by „Bildung & Beratung Bethel“ in cooperation with the Association for Employees in the Neurophysiological Technological Field (FNTA) and supported by the German Society for Clinical Neurophysiology and Functional Imaging (DGKN).
Under the guidance of experienced instructor Frank Böhme, participants practiced peripheral nerve measurements, electrode placement, and result interpretation. All work on the esumedics EMG system was projected via a beamer, allowing everyone to follow each step and understand the device functionality in detail. Thanks to the system’s intuitive interface and high signal quality, participants were able to fully focus on learning and efficiently refine their technical skills.

Technical Expertise and Individual Support
Hannes Conrad, esumedics Sales for Western Germany, provided continuous support throughout the training sessions. He assisted participants with both practical operation and interpretation of results. Immediate, on-site clarification of questions ensured a direct transfer of knowledge from theory to practice. The combination of advanced technology and hands-on guidance created a highly productive learning environment.
NCV Training Integrated into a Comprehensive Neurodiagnostics Curriculum
The NCV module is a core component of the 18-month training program, which focuses on developing professional competencies in EEG, NCV, and evoked potentials. The program covers methodological skills, legal frameworks, process understanding, and patient safety. By integrating practical modules with modern esumedics systems, participants gain not only operational familiarity but also the ability to effectively apply the devices in clinical settings.
Benefits for Participants and Professional Development
esumedics EMG systems have proven to be ideal tools for both training and routine clinical use. Their intuitive operation, robust hardware, and high-quality outputs make it easier for participants to learn and deepen essential skills efficiently. This hands-on experience translates directly into enhanced competence in professional practice.
We thank all participants for their interest in esumedics EMG and EEG systems and Frank Böhme for leading the module with professionalism. The esumedics team looks forward to continuing its support of the FNTA training program, providing advanced equipment and expert guidance to help develop the next generation of neurophysiology specialists.
