Exploring the World of Dreams with esumedics
At this year’s project day at the Naumburg Vocational and Professional School Center, trainees in nursing and early childhood education gained fascinating insights into the neurophysiological processes that occur during different states of wakefulness and rest. Using an esumedics EEG system, the learners were able to observe the brain’s electrical activity firsthand, gaining a practical understanding of fundamental neurophysiological relationships.
Hands-On Experiments with the esumedics EEG
On January 21, 2026, esumedics supported a special school project day at Naumburg, Germany. Under the school year’s motto, “Every great dream begins with a dreamer” trainees explored the topic of sleep and dreaming across multiple themed stations. A particular focus was placed on measuring brain activity with an esumedics EEG system, which was provided to the school for this event.
The esumedics EEG enabled a clear and illustrative visualization of the brain’s electrical activity, similar to applications in clinical diagnostics. Its intuitive software interface made this complex topic highly accessible. Without extensive setup or technical barriers, students could actively participate, ask questions, and follow the processes on screen. The clear display of EEG signals and the straightforward operation make esumedics systems an ideal tool for both training and professional development.
