Mongolia Relies on esumedics EEG Systems

At the beginning of the year, Esumedics GmbH and our local distributor MissDi Medical, equiped a modern pediatric rehabilitation center in Mongolia with an esumedics EEG system. Our efficient, easy-to-use EEG with photostimulation brings state-of-the-art neurological diagnostics to the region.

Mongolian Center Relies on esumedics EEG

In 2016, the Mongolian government invested in a large, modern rehabilitation center for children with physical and mental disabilities. The center was funded by the Republic of China and was opened in March 2019. It is the only of its kind nationwide to offer comprehensive care, education, and rehabilitation services, as well as medical treatment for children.

With the support of our local distributor, MissDi Medical, Esumedics GmbH was able to equip the rehabilitation center with a brand-new EEG system with a high-quality metal equipment cart and photostimulator at the beginning of the year. The system was installed on-site by MissDi and customized according to the requirements of the local physicians. Comprehensive training measures are planned for the course of the year, during which medical staff will receive practical training in working with our easy-to-use, high-signal-enhancing systems.

With the esumedics EEG system, the Mongolian rehabilitation center relies on efficient diagnostics and reporting according to the highest European quality standards. Our esumedics EEG and esumedics EMG are MDR-certified and deliver reliable examination data with high signal quality. The 36-channel esumedics EEG is perfectly tailored to the requirements of routine EEG diagnostics. Advanced database filters with five preset options and practical workflow functions guarantee effective teamwork. Our photostimulator with preprogrammed and manual stimulation modes provides efficient provocation methods, which contribute to precise EEG findings in single or serial stimuli from 0 to 63 Hz.
