The esumedics EEG enables users worldwide to record EEG data efficiently and offers meaningful exam results. Patients at one of Germany’s best-known university hospitals will also benefit from these and other advantages in the future.
Improvement in Patient Care
We are proud and grateful. In July 2024, our service technicians Stefan Pade and Benjamin Weißflog took on an important assignment in Berlin. The Neurological Functional Diagnostics of the world-renowned Charité was equipped by us with a new esumedics® EEG system. At the same time, six existing EEG systems were updated to our modern and efficient esumedics software. This included some video EEG systems from the Neurological Intensive Care Unit. Here, the user-friendly module “NeuroTrend” (encevis software by AIT), which enables automated EEG monitoring of intensive care patients, is also used in daily routines. NeuroTrend can be perfectly integrated into the esumedics EEG software, making it easier for the Charité medical team to identify and interpret suspicious EEG activities.
The university hospital is now equipped with the latest technical standards and can continue to operate the reliable existing hardware for many more years.
esumedics as a Reliable Partner in Daily Clinical and Practice Operations
Thanks to perfect preparation, our technicians were able to put the new and partially upgraded systems into operation for the Charité in a very short time. Once all technical installations, as well as some customer-specific modifications and settings, were implemented, a comprehensive introduction to the new software followed. With the clear and intuitive user interface, this process was very straightforward. Within just a few hours, the medical staff was able to resume active work with the systems.
