Celebrating Together, Honoring Achievements, Looking Ahead
On November 27, 2025, the entire esumedics team came together for this year’s Christmas celebration at the atmospheric “Wackerbarth” castle near Dresden. Employees from the Niederdorf headquarters as well as all field staff joined forces to enjoy a special afternoon and evening filled with team spirit, joy, and memorable moments away from the daily work routine.
A Sporty Start: Ice Stocking in a Winter Setting
The day began with warming drinks, followed by a trip to the ice stock lanes. Split into two teams, competitive spirit quickly kicked in – there was plenty of laughter, cheering, and even some meticulous measuring to see who claimed the decisive points.
This perfect blend of competition and fun set a relaxed and lively tone for the afternoon.
Insight into Tradition and Craftsmanship: Guided Tour of the Manufactory
Next, the team enjoyed a guided tour of “Wackerbarth’s” wine and sparkling wine manufactory. After sampling the famous Dresdner Christstollen and other hot beverages, the group explored the production halls, discovering fascinating stories about Saxony’s winemaking traditions, from impressive machinery and stainless steel tanks to large and small wooden barrels. The tour concluded with a stylish tasting of three selected white wines.
A Special Venue with Meaningful Connections
The baroque Wackerbarth castle was built between 1727 and 1730 by Count „August Christoph von Wackerbarth“ as a representative country estate and today is one of Saxony’s most renowned wineries. With over 850 years of winemaking tradition and a reputation for high-quality sparkling wines and still wines, Wackerbarth castle exemplifies craftsmanship, quality, and sustainability – values shared by esumedics. There is also a meaningful connection: esumedics itself traces its origins to the Dresden region, specifically Radeberg, creating a natural full circle.
Festive Finale: Culinary Highlights, Gratitude, and Outlook
The culinary highlight of the day was a delicious three-course dinner in the castle restaurant. In this festive setting, CEO Wolfram Drescher delivered a personal speech of thanks, recognizing the remarkable achievements of 2025, a year in which esumedics exceeded its ambitious goals. He celebrated the outstanding feedback and the growing global demand for “Made in Germany” EEG and EMG systems – a success made possible only through the dedication, passion, and teamwork of everyone at esumedics.
