Made-in-Germany EEG and EMG Solutions Deployed Across Three Hospital Locations
In 2025, esumedics completed its largest installation of devices and software at Chemnitz Hospital. In addition to supplying new systems, existing installations were upgraded to the latest esumedics software, providing clinicians with modern, integrated tools for neurodiagnostic workflows.

Modern Diagnostics in a Newly Established Functional Department
As part of the modernization and expansion of its “Flemmingstraße” campus, Chemnitz Hospital decided to centralize its neurological diagnostic services, which had previously been divided across two locations. In early 2025, the hospital invested in several new esumedics EEG and EMG systems to support this initiative. The installation includes specialized high-mobility solutions for the intensive care unit as well as user-friendly devices designed for efficient routine diagnostics.
Clinicians benefit from intuitive user interfaces and software that integrates smoothly into daily operations, supporting efficient and reliable neurodiagnostic assessments.

Shared Data Platform for Efficient, Coordinated Workflows
With the installation in the new clinic building and additional EEG and EMG systems at two other hospital locations, a networked, cross-location neurodiagnostic system was established. Seamless integration with the hospital IT and the shared esumedics EEG and EMG database allows teams to generate reports quickly, access patient data centrally, and coordinate examinations efficiently across all locations.
Since early 2025, esumedics software has supported clinical staff with structured workflows and rapid data processing. Users also benefit from an intuitive interface, flexible configuration options, and a system architecture designed for future expansions. In addition, esumedics provides reliable technical support and direct points of contact for questions or system adjustments, ensuring a transparent, well-supported setup that streamlines daily workflows and allows long-term planning security.

Leading Neurological Hospital in Germany
The Department of Neurology at Chemnitz Hospital is one of the largest and most capable neurological centers in Germany. As a maximum-care provider, the neurological department serves approximately 500,000 people and covers the full spectrum of neurological disorders, including a certified regional stroke unit and a dedicated neurological intensive care unit.
Treating more than 6,000 inpatient and 1,500 outpatient cases each year, the department is a key hub for both clinical care and research. As a teaching hospital of the Universities of Dresden and Leipzig, it is closely involved in current scientific studies and sets standards for modern, evidence-based neurology.
We extend our thanks to Chemnitz Hospital and Senior Physician Dr. Steve Dettmann with his team for their excellent collaboration during the installation. With this extensive installation of multiple EEG and EMG systems, the hospital now has flexible, user-friendly neurodiagnostic solutions supporting efficient diagnostics and improved patient care.
